Abhinav Shukla Admits Wife Rubina Dilaik Is 'More Famous And Bigger Star' Than Him: 'We Have To Be Practical About It, It Is What It Is'

Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla are one of the most loved couples in the industry. The couple never miss a chance to paint the town red with their mushy romance. Fans love how they always support each other. In a recent interview, Abhinav opened up about his bond with his wife and admitted that Rubina is more successful than him.
Speaking to Pinkvilla, Abhinav Skula admitted that his wife is a bigger star as compared to him. He said, “We’ve to be practical about it. It is what it is. Somebody would be a fool who doesn’t admit she is more successful. She is doing more work than I am, that’s a fact. So if I try to say, ‘nahi yaar hum dono barabar hain’ that’s when she needs to compensate. Adding to what Abhinav said, Rubina mentioned how her husband has made her comfortable about the fact that she is more famous than him. She called him extremely supportive and said, “He has made me feel and be so comfortable with the fact that it is absolutely normal for a woman to be more successful than a man. He has vocalised the thought that ‘Rubina, today, tomorrow or any given point of time, if you are at a higher ladder of success, fame-wise, money-wise or anything, I am there for you, for you to understand that it’s normal and we’ve to normalize it.”
For the unversed, the couple tied the knot in 2018. Rubina’s character as a transgender woman as Soumya Singh in daily soap Shakti-Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki sky-rocketed her popularity among the audience. Currently, the husband and wife are seen together in the series Wanderlust.
